Moon

Darkness, bleeding into the moon and evaporating her light,
Should have been a warning not all was right.
She left us cold and without hope,
No destination known, nor any tossed rope;
Feeding evil, among us residing, we sheltered our deepest, inner frightening
Thoughts.  Sent to guide us we let it divide us,
Pouring out our useless, hypocritical mass onto the mother surface.
Here in silence, resolute and stubborn, can we unleash ourselves,
When by ourselves we are so governed?
Breaking forth from gut and breast, torn from body’s flesh, re-dressed,
We move and dance in Her moonlight.
Never forget, never deny...Her light.
